The National Association of Social Workers has published a helpful bulletin on COVID-19 and telehealth. Here’s what you’ll find at the link:

“Social workers are in a unique position to promote disease prevention efforts (including disseminating accurate information from trusted sources), and to help address anxiety and other concerns that are arising as a result of this public health crisis.

Below are resources to support social workers in this role. As this situation continues to rapidly evolve, NASW will continue to monitor developments and work to protect social workers and the clients we serve.”

Healthy Families America has published guidance on implementing telehealth in home visiting. Here’s an excerpt:

“The HFA network continues its work to support families with infants and young children, many who need us now more than ever before. Our hats are off to all of you for being champions during these stressful times for yourselves, your staff and the families you serve. The National Office promises to continue to support you in your work by creating and cultivating resources for you, by improving access to these resources so you have what you need when you need it, and simply by being here for you.”
